Friday night was the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the Quarter.  We met at Cafe Marigny Brasserie and just stepped outside the restaurant when we saw the parade coming.  We all assumed our college day mentality and had a BLAST!  Beads, hats, rubber chickens, flashing rings, green scarves, etc were caught with such enthusiasm that you would think the items were pure gold.  Kisses on the cheek were traded for plastic flowers from tartan skirted men dancing in the street.  Irish music blared from the floats and added to laissez le bon temps rouler!  Such fun!
